Evangelism Committee

What is a church without outreach? We try to make sure that Christ is known throughout our village, and to ensure that all know that Christ Lutheran is a welcoming and Spirit-filled place. All our members are in some way a part of us, Hopefully, you can join us in our work!

Sunday School

The education of our children is paramount. We always need good teachers to help in Sunday School, so that our children will grow in faith and love for the Lord and for each other.

Worship and Music Committee

We try to make sure our worship continues to be meaningful and accessible to all. We suggest changes, give the Pastor or Vicar feedback, explore new ideas and new ways of worship, suggest hymns. We meet every three months.

Altar Guild

Altar Guild is a group of people who work every weekend to make sure the sanctuary is ready for worship. We prepare the communion table, the paraments, the missal, the bibles, the baptismal font. We meet once a month to ensure that each Sunday has two people who make sure everything is ready and to discuss how we can best continue our service. Women’s Circle

Women’s circle is the network of women (and some men, too!) at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. We participate in social ministry projects together with the Social Ministry Committee, and we organize the annual anniversary dinner at the church and the annual dinner in honor of our Confirmation students.

Property Committee

We have charge of the church building and the parsonage. We make sure the roof doesn’t leak, the windows don’t leak, the grass is cut, and the sidewalk is clear. We’re a hardworking group, and we always could use another group of volunteers!
